[ME] Name elise. Age too young for a driver's license, too old for the mcdonald's playland Years of experience two.
[HER] Name Kinsey Michelle Daring. Nickname Kins. Age/Year Sixteen / Junior. Birthday December 20.
SMART Kinsey Daring has always been naturally intelligent, taking tests at the age of eight that placed her in the gifted classes in her elementary. She always expected the best of herself and pushed herself to do her very best, even when it got really challenging. She knew it would pay off in the end. Most teachers see her as the perfect student; bright, quiet, intuitive. Her peers see Kinsey as “the teacher’s pet”, “that one smart kid”, or “the nerd”. Being the quiet person she is, Kinsey never spoke up or stood up for herself. She doesn’t really fit in.
QUIET Ever since she was a child, Kinsey has been reserved and quiet, always fading into the background. Her history and parents have most everything to do with that. You might think that she would explode, keeping all her feelings in, but no. Her diary is her escape. She’ll write until midnight to get her feelings out. Kinsey doesn’t talk much to people, unless they talk first, but even then she doesn’t chatter on uselessly. Kins believes that words should mean something.
SWEET Kinsey sees the world differently than most people. She tries her best to be kind and sweet to all living things. She is a vegetarian and a Christian, but does not go to church. She has bad thoughts about the people she doesn’t like, but only ever writes them in her diary. My, if that thing was ever found. She is faithful and loyal to her friends. She can be mean and spiteful though, only if people hurt her terribly.
FUN Seeing the last three paragraphs may lead you to believe that Kinsey is not fun. But on the contrary, she can be a big bowl of happiness. Around her closest friends, she is funny and quite happy. Kinsey loves to smile and laugh and occasionally go out to a club or something. She does like to be rebellious. You should never judge a person by their cover, and Kinsey is living proof.
THE LOOKS Kinsey Daring always blended in, but not in her appearance. Her looks are a way of not blending in, but most of the time has people staring. Jet black hair with colors often streaked through it adorns her cute round face. Sometimes it is short, sometimes long, with the help of extensions. She often wears bows or headbands. Her big brown eyes give Kins a youthful look, as does her clear porcelain skin. Snakebites are the only body modification on her body, showing Kinsey’s rebellious side. As for makeup, thick black eyeliner usually outlines her eyes, along with black eyeshadow. A little blush, some mascara, and she’s good. Sometimes she spices it up, but the basics are that. As for clothing and style, it varies for Kinsey. Mainly it is scene and emo, but sometimes it can be preppy and girly.
Social Class Nerd, Outcast, Emo, Scene. Staff/Teacher/Student Student.
CHILDHOOD Born on December 20th to Michael Thomas and Lilly Daring, Kinsey Daring was an accident, simple as that. Michael and Lilly never meant to have a child, and split up soon after she was born. At first Lilly took care of her, but soon started dating again, passing Kinsey on to her father. He kept her until she was of school age. Mike and Lilly then worked out a plan to pass Kinsey to off to each other every couple of weeks. Despite this, Kinsey was never wanted. At preschool age, Mike took up drinking and got drunk in front of Kinsey more than once, scaring her. Lilly was no better, bringing men into her apartment with Kinsey around.
ELEMENTARY Kinsey’s elementary years were not the best. Two of her mother’s ‘boyfriends’ had molested her, scarring her emotionally quite badly. Her father beat her regularly, causing Kins to wear long-sleeve shirts until the bruises faded. He would kick and throw her in his drunken rages, but Kinsey never told anyone, knowing her mother wouldn’t believe her or even care. Near the end of second grade, Kinsey’s teachers found that she was exceptionally bright. After testing her, she was placed in several gifted classes.
JUNIOR HIGH After Michael was arrested, and Lilly married, things got better for Kinsey. She moved in with her Aunt Caroline. In seventh grade, Kinsey discovered her passion for English. She had a talent for writing and went with it. She was never without her diary, and wrote in it regularly. Her life was going well, up until a fateful day when Caroline was killed in a car crash. Sometimes Kins even resorted to self mutilation. This death devastated Kinsey and she moved out after eighth grade, taking refuge in a dorm at her new high school.
HIGH SCHOOL Continuing her schooling, Kinsey was driven by the thoughts of college. She had to make it through school. She tried to keep a optimistic attitude about life. She found that things got better. Henry Green was her first boyfriend, but broke her heart by cheating on her. Kinsey learned to never trust boys after that. She finally made it to her junior year. What lies ahead for Miss Kinsey Daring?

[ROLEPLAY] A female’s hand pushed open the door of Allen’s Alley, the bell ringing. Stepping in, she gracefully took off her giant shades and slipped them into her metallic hobo bag around her shoulder. It was a sunny fall day around noon, and Denver Alpha had just got up not even fifteen minutes ago. Her head throbbed with the aftermath of a hard night of parties and alcohol last night.
The door behind her shut as she made her way to the diner’s counter, finding an empty stool and sitting down. She brushed her pink, black, and white hair behind her back as a waitress with the name of Ruby strolled over to her. “The usual Ruby,” said Denver quietly, the fatigue in her voice showing a bit. Ruby sighed and nodded, going back to the kitchen with Denver’s usual order, a chocolate milkshake with just a hint of black coffee.
Though Denver had just awoken not too long ago, her appearance did not show it at all. It seemed effortless to the people who knew her best. Bright blue and white tank tops were layered on her torso, below which a pair of purple skinny jeans held up by a black studded belt lay on her hips. Engulfing her feet were a pair of silver ballet flats that matched her bag and the thin headband buried in Denver’s hair. Around her neck were several necklaces, the big one depicting Hello Kitty’s face in gems. Brightly colored rubber bracelets were stacked on each arm.
"Rough night last night Denver?" Ruby asked as she came back with a large glass filled with chocolaty goodness. Denver rested her head on her hand and nodded as best she could. “Yes.” she replied, taking the milkshake with her other hand. The eighteen-year old visited this diner so often, the workers knew her by name and all knew what her “usual” was. She took a long sip of the drink, hoping that it would cure her nasty hangover like it always did.
